About This Visa

Indian ordinary-passport holders can skip a Belarus visa only on this airport path, and only with a valid multiple-entry EU or Schengen visa that already has a border entry stamp (they must have used it once). Embassy India: Minsk National Airport in and out. MFA also names Brest, Gomel, Grodno, Mogilev, Vitebsk. Diplomatic/service passports are not on this visa-free order.

Funds: Embassy India at least EUR 25 per day (or USD / BYN equal). MFA: at least 2 base rates per day, or 50 base rates for a full 30 days. Insurance min. EUR 10,000 covering Belarus. Outbound ticket from a listed Belarus airport within 30 days.

Documents Required

  • Valid ordinary passport (MFA: valid 90 days after leaving Belarus)
  • Used multiple-entry EU or Schengen visa with an entry stamp
  • Funds as above
  • Insurance min. EUR 10,000 for Belarus (Indian policy or buy at Minsk Airport)
  • Ticket leaving a listed Belarus airport within 30 days

About This Visa

From 18 September 2026 Indian ordinary-passport holders can take a tourism e-visa. Usual holiday path when they have no qualifying used Schengen/EU multiple visa. No embassy appointment and no invitation. Account on https://e-pasluga.by (or the E-Pasluga app), service 3.04.01 «E-visa issuance». Carry a print or phone copy. Belarus is not Schengen — this sticker/e-visa is not for the EU.

Documents Required

Embassy India e-visa notice + E-Pasluga 3.04.01 — no visa-support papers

  • Ordinary passport, complete and accurate form
  • Pay EUR 60 + EUR 6 (under 14: EUR 0 consular + EUR 6 service)
  • Print the PDF from the account. Show it at the border if asked

Processing time

Apply at least 1 month ahead. Regular: 5 business days. Urgent: next business day / within 48 hours, extra fee, may be closed when busy.

Validity

As issued. Cannot extend at the Embassy — new visa if dates change. Longer stay in Belarus: Citizenship and Migration for an exit visa.

About This Visa

Use the sticker when they cannot use visa-free or e-visa (or they need a passport sticker / more entries). File in person after an email appointment. Embassy does not work with facilitators. Pay the exact INR the officer quotes at RBL, surname on the slip, back to the Embassy by 12:30 the same day (Mumbai by 15:30).

  • Form in BLOCK LETTERS, English or Russian/Belarusian, signed. Minors: legal representative signs
  • Photo 35 × 45 mm, under 6 months, 70–80 % face, light background
  • Passport: 2 visa pages, valid 90 days after leaving Belarus
  • Under 18: full birth certificate (parents named) and parent passport copies
  • Original invitation / visa support (Embassy keeps it)
  • Insurance copy: min. EUR 10,000, names Belarus / Europe incl. Belarus / Worldwide. Original on the trip. Embassy names Eximgarant and Belgosstrakh
  • Hotel letterhead from the hotel (not booking.com). Private flat: landlord booking, ownership, private-enterprise registration
  • Flight itinerary. Bank last 3 months or payslip
  • Border may also ask USD 25 per day (or USD 600 per month)

How to apply

  1. Visa-free: fly a listed Belarus airport with the papers above. Do not route via Russia.
  2. E-visa: https://e-pasluga.by → 3.04.01, pay, print. File at least 7 calendar days before entry.
  3. Sticker: email india.consul@mfa.gov.by (not india@mfa.gov.by) or visa.mumbai@mfa.gov.by. Purpose, dates, host, Indian home address. Reply in 5 working days. Visa desk Mon–Thu 09:30–12:30 (Mumbai 10:00–14:00).

Who can apply

  • Holiday with a used multiple EU/Schengen visa: airport visa-free 30 days if they meet the extra India rules.
  • Otherwise: e-visa from 18 September 2026, or Type C sticker at New Delhi / Mumbai.
  • Mumbai CG district: Maharashtra, Goa, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Lakshadweep.
