About This Visa
Indian ordinary-passport holders need a visa for Burkina Faso. Africa-wide fee waivers do not cover India. Apply before travel on the official portal https://www.visaburkina.bf (or lodge at the Embassy in New Delhi).
Short-stay visas are for tourism, business, or family visits. Maximum validity is 90 days. Tourist fee on the official court-séjour page: XOF 66,000 for single or multiple. Card payments can add operator charges. Africans may pay XOF 0 on the portal but still need an approved visa — that free path is not for Indians.

- Hotel booking in Burkina Faso for at least three (3) nights
- Festival invitation letter, if travelling for a festival
Carry the approved pre-visa (PDF or print) to boarding and to the border. Keep it until you leave Burkina Faso. Entry stamp goes in the passport after the officer checks the pre-visa.
