About This Visa
Indian ordinary-passport holders need a Ghana entry visa before travel. Usual staff path in India: lodge with the High Commission of Ghana in New Delhi.
GIS fee table (effective 15 May 2025): concessionary visa fee USD 100 for other nationals (USD 97 for Ghanaians with a foreign passport). Carry a yellow fever vaccination certificate. A visa is not a guarantee of entry — Immigration decides at the border.
Documents Required
Ghana Immigration Service — entry visa
- Applicant legally resident in India (where the mission is sited)
- Passport valid at least six (6) months
- Passport photographs taken not more than three months before submission
- Return ticket or print-out of travel itinerary
- International yellow fever vaccination certificate
- Reference: hotel / lodge address, or business associate / host papers as the case requires
