About This Visa
Indian ordinary-passport holders need a Schengen C. Usual staff path: VFS Global in India, then the Embassy in New Delhi decides. Do not use visa.vfsglobal.com/ind/en/svn — it does not load. Use https://www.vfsglobal.com/one-pager/slovenia/india/english/ . They may also lodge at the Embassy by appointment: email consular.newdelhi@gov.si with name, date of birth, passport number, and the service. Embassy has no cash — UPI (INR) or bank transfer (EUR or INR).
No status on an open file. Papers in English or Slovenian. Diplomatic passports: visa-free for a short stay. National D is EUR 77 — not this holiday C.

- Signed Schengen form (English or Slovenian). Each person on the passport files separately. Under 18: parent/guardian signs. One ICAO photo, white background, under 6 months, about 35–40 mm
- Passport: issued within 10 years, 2 blank pages, 3 months after leaving Schengen. Copy of the travel document
- Tourism: hotel or other lodging with the confirmer’s full name and phone in Slovenia. Return/round flight reservation; several Schengen stops: intra-Schengen transport. Cover letter / travel plan
- Original 3 months stamped and signed bank statements. ITR last 2 assessment years. Employed: 3 months payslips, contract, leave letter. Self-employed: company registration. Retired: 3 months pension and/or property. Host stay: authenticated guarantee letter (Administrative Unit in Slovenia)
- Insurance min. EUR 30,000, whole Schengen, whole stay (hospital, treatment, repatriation). Indian policies only from the approved Schengen India TMI list (March 2024 on gov.si). Original and copy
- Fingerprints unless taken in the last 59 months; under 12 exempt. Agents cannot take prints
