About This Visa
Indian ordinary-passport holders need a visa. Switzerland’s India page lists India as visa-required for a short stay. Usual staff path: Schengen C for tourism (or visiting family/friends, short language study, conference, sport/culture) — stay up to 90 days in 180. Switzerland must be the main destination.
Lodge at VFS Global anywhere in India. Every file is decided by the Embassy of Switzerland in New Delhi. They should be legally residing and working in India for at least the last six months to apply at this representation. Start no earlier than 6 months before Schengen entry. Status of a C visa: VFS, not the Embassy phone.
