About This Visa
Indian ordinary-passport holders do not need a visa to enter the Commonwealth of Dominica for a stay not exceeding six months. India is covered by the official Commonwealth of Nations member-states list on dominica.gov.dm.
Every visitor must still complete the free Online Immigration and Customs Declaration (ED) Card on https://edcard.dominica.gov.dm — no more than three days before travel. Save the confirmation and QR code and present them with the passport. The Government of Dominica does not charge for the ED form; ignore third-party sites that do.
Documents Required
Commonwealth visa-free path
- Valid Indian passport (or other accepted travel document)
- Completed ED card confirmation + QR from https://edcard.dominica.gov.dm (submit ≤3 days before travel)
- Immigration may ask for return/onward travel plans and purpose — have tickets and accommodation details ready
Separate official rule (any nationality): an in-transit passenger or bona fide tourist with a return ticket who satisfies the Immigration Officer that they will not stay more than 21 days also appears on the same visa page — the Commonwealth six-month path is the usual India tourism route.
