About This Visa

Indian ordinary-passport holders need a Visa Consultada (Categoría C) before travelling to Nicaragua. Disposición No. 002-2026 (MINT / Dirección General de Migración y Extranjería), in force from 16 February 2026, lists India for ordinary passports only under Category C.

Embassy of India Panama relay of MINT instructions: apply either on https://tramitesconsulares.mint.gob.ni or by emailing the Category C form plus passport biodata to solicitudes@mint.gob.ni. After review, MINT sends a payment link; once authorised, download and print the electronic visa (no passport stamp required under the digitised process). Carry cash USD 10 for the tourist entry stamp on arrival.
