About This Visa

Issued by the Consulate General of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Mumbai to people residing in and applying from India.

Fill the Ministry of Foreign Affairs form at http://econsulate.mfa.gov.af/InfoVisa.aspx, print it, and take it with the passport and supporting papers to the Consulate.

e-Visa (Online Application Not for Indian Citizens).

About This Visa

Due to regulatory requirements, we can only issue single-entry visas valid for a one-month stay, with the exception of Business Visas (can be issued up to a maximum period of 3 years with multiple entries).

2. Good to Know

Rules and notes that apply to every visa type

Who can apply

  • Mumbai consulate issues visas for people residing in and applying from India.
  • All foreign nationals need a visa. Dual Afghan nationals with a Tazkira are exempt.
  • Most visas are single entry for one month. A Business Visa can be multiple entry for up to 3 years.
  • To stay longer, apply for an extension at the MFA Consulate Directorate in Kabul.
