About This Visa
Recommended route for Indian ordinary-passport holders. Apply only on the official portal https://evisa.gov.az — not through agencies or lookalike sites.
The e-Visa is single entry. It is valid for 90 days and allows a stay of up to 30 days. It is not stamped in the passport: print the A4 copy and carry it with the same passport used in the application.
The Embassy in New Delhi does not issue, change, or confirm e-Visas. Questions go to https://evisa.gov.az/az/contact or info@evisa.gov.az.
The state fee for reviewing the application is USD 20 and is non-refundable. Official portal pages disagree on the extra service fee (USD 5 or USD 9). Pay only the amount shown on the official portal checkout (Visa, Mastercard, UnionPay; some pages also list JCB). The card need not be in the traveller’s name.
Documents Required
- Ordinary Indian passport (or the travel document that will be used at the border)
- Passport validity must be at least 3 months after the e-Visa expiry date
- Clear scan of the passport bio page (details must match the form exactly)
- Email address for the decision and download link
- Internationally enabled Visa / Mastercard / UnionPay card
- Printed e-Visa (A4) to show with the passport at the border
Apply as an individual, a family (2–10 people), or a group (10–300). Dual nationals must choose the nationality of the passport they will travel on. A mismatch makes the e-Visa invalid.
