About This Visa

Usual tourist option for Indian ordinary-passport holders. Apply only on https://www.evisa.gov.bh. Do not use agency or lookalike sites.

Issued to nationals of 212 countries. Single entry, 14 days stay. The visa must be used within three months of issue.

Pay the application fee first and keep the reference number. After NPRA approval, pay the issuance fee under “Pay for Application”. Charge only the amount shown on the official checkout — NPRA lists 5 + 5 BHD; the bahrain.bh catalogue lists 9 + 4 BHD.

  • Return ticket
  • Three-month bank statement in English — regular income of 300–500 BHD per month, or 150 BHD for each day of the visit

About This Visa

Multiple-entry visitor eVisa for nationals of 212 countries, including India. Apply on https://www.evisa.gov.bh.

bahrain.bh says the visa is valid for one year. NPRA says each stay is up to 3 months, and the visa is invalid if not used within three months of issue.

NPRA checkout is 5 + 40 BHD. bahrain.bh lists 44 BHD. Charge only the official checkout. NPRA also asks for a 3-month bank statement with a steady income of not less than USD 1,000.

For visitors who have relatives in Bahrain. Issued for one month and can be renewed. Apply on https://www.evisa.gov.bh.

Need official papers that prove the family link (birth certificate, marriage certificate, or similar).

About This Visa

India is on the official visa-on-arrival list at https://evisa.gov.bh/list-of-onarrival-visa-country.html. Terms still apply — click the country name to check eligibility.

Entry is not guaranteed. The traveller must meet the conditions on the day, at the immigration officer’s discretion.

Prefer the eVisa for planned trips. Do not quote unofficial airport fee tables — the official list does not publish a fee.

  • Passport (carry the same papers the eVisa form asks for: return ticket, hotel, proof of funds)

How to apply

  1. Open https://www.evisa.gov.bh and complete the eligibility check.
  2. Select the visa type and fill the form.
  3. Attach the required files.
  4. Pay the first fee by card and keep the application reference number.
  5. Wait for the NPRA email. If approved, use “Pay for Application” to pay the issuance fee and download the visa.

If the application is refused, the email tells you who to contact. The application fee is not refunded.

Who can apply

  • Indian ordinary-passport holders need a visa. GCC nationals do not.
  • India is on the official eVisa list and the official visa-on-arrival list.
  • The Embassy in New Delhi sends entry-visa applicants to https://www.evisa.gov.bh, not a Delhi sticker process.
  • Work and residence permits are a separate LMRA process — not this tourist/visit file.

How to extend
