About This Visa

Indian ordinary-passport holders can apply for this e-Visa when the trip is ordinary / business, not tourism. They need a visa; they are not visa-free.

  • Recent passport-size photo, JPEG or PNG
  • Payment as on the portal checkout

About This Visa

Official missions say a visa on arrival is available at international entry points. The e-Visa FAQ says: if the land checkpoint does not accept e-Visa, apply for visa on arrival there instead.

The Washington embassy recommends getting the visa before travel, and says VOA needs a valid passport and a recent passport photo (forms are given on arrival). Confirm the airline will board without a visa in hand — some staff refuse boarding.

evisa.gov.kh does not publish a VOA fee. Do not use agency tables. Prefer the e-Visa for planned trips.

Documents Required

  • Passport valid more than 6 months at entry
  • Recent passport-size photograph
  • e-Arrival QR from https://arrival.gov.kh (recommended before travel)

2. Good to Know

Rules and notes that apply to every visa type

How to apply

  1. Open https://www.evisa.gov.kh and start the application.
  2. Fill the form, confirm, and pay on the official checkout.
  3. Wait for the approval letter (about 3 business days).
  4. Download / print the e-Visa certificate (email or Check & Change).
  5. Complete e-Arrival on https://arrival.gov.kh within 7 days before arrival.
  6. Enter only at a port that accepts e-Visa (list on the portal homepage).

Who can apply

  • Indian ordinary-passport holders: eligible for e-Visa (and visa on arrival). They are not visa-free.
  • Indian diplomatic and official / service passports: visa-free up to 60 days (official MFA table as of 25 September 2026).
  • Usual staff path: e-Visa T for tourism, e-Visa E for ordinary / business, on https://www.evisa.gov.kh.
  • The Royal Embassy in New Delhi can issue a sticker visa. It does not run the e-Visa system.

Embassy

Royal Embassy of Cambodia, New Delhi (MFAIC list: India residence; also Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Iran, Nepal, Maldives)
A-1/309, Safdarjung Enclave, New Delhi 110029
+91 11 4171 7136 / 4171 7143
camemb.ind@mfaic.gov.kh

MFAIC does not publish Delhi visa hours or a Delhi fee table on that embassy list. Confirm hours and sticker fees with the mission before sending a walk-in. Do not invent a Bangalore consulate — it is not on the official MFAIC embassy list.

e-Visa ports

Homepage list (e-Visa accepted): Phnom Penh International Airport; Siem Reap Angkor International Airport; Cham Yeam (Koh Kong); Poi Pet (Banteay Meanchey); Bavet (Svay Rieng); Sihanoukville International Airport (not cruising ships); Tropaeng Kreal Border Post (Stung Treng).

Not every land checkpoint accepts e-Visa. If the traveller is unsure which Thai / Vietnamese / Lao crossing they will use, check the portal before applying, or plan visa on arrival at a checkpoint that does not support e-Visa.

How to track

Use Check & Change at https://www.evisa.gov.kh/check_change: status, retry a failed payment, print the receipt, change travel information, download the certificate. Contact: info@evisa.gov.kh · 123@evisa.gov.kh · evisacambodia@evisa.gov.kh · (855) 23 224 973 / (855) 99 334 973.

Photo and uploads

  • e-Visa: recent passport-size photo, JPEG or PNG
  • To replace a submitted photo: email the new file and the reference number to info@evisa.gov.kh
  • Visa on arrival: carry a physical recent passport photo

e-Arrival

Required even if the traveller already has a visa. Official platforms only: https://arrival.gov.kh and the official Cambodia e-Arrival app (General Department of Immigration / AKP warning, February 2025). No fee for the form.

Submit within 7 days before arrival. Immigration also says it can be done on arrival. The Berlin embassy FAQ still says e-Arrival is for foreign travellers entering by air; the e-Visa homepage says all travellers. Follow arrival.gov.kh on the day of travel.

How to extend

The Washington embassy: a tourist visa can be extended for another 30 days at the Cambodia Immigration Office. The Paris embassy: Visa T can be extended only once for one month; apply about one week before it expires. Do that in Cambodia — not on the e-Visa portal.
