About This Visa
Indian ordinary-passport holders do not need a visa to enter Nepal. The Department of Immigration says so on the official ETA / eVisa page. Do not send them to pay the tourist eVisa (USD 30 / 50 / 125). Those fees are for nationalities that need a visa.
Usual staff path: travel on a valid Indian passport. Do not file the DoI eVisa / ETA for this tourist path.
Documents Required
Official ETA / eVisa page — https://immigration.gov.np/eta-visa-nepal
- Valid Indian passport
That page’s general notices also say a passport must be valid at least 6 months before travel. That notice sits with the paid tourist-visa rules. Prefer a passport with 6 months left.
