About This Visa
Indian ordinary-passport holders need a visa. They are not visa-free. Usual staff path: sticker visa at the Embassy of Turkmenistan, New Delhi. Deliver the file in person. The Embassy does not arrange tours and does not get invitations. Tourists need a Visa Verification Number or a certified letter of invitation from the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan.
The Embassy points tourists to www.tourism-sport.gov.tm for extra tourist information. That host did not resolve on this check — do not send anyone there until it loads. Keep using the Embassy visa page.
Children 0–7: no visa charge. Ages 7–16: 50% of the regular fee. India is this Embassy’s single consular district; the page still says to check the fee table.

Visa Application Form 2009 edition only (from the Embassy or its download). One copy. Photo glued (max 6 months old, passport size). Do not staple or fold. Dates DD-MM-YYYY
Signed passport, valid at least 6 months from departure, plus a copy of page 1 on A4 (photo, details, signature at the top). They keep the original passport while they process
Cash or cheque/bank draft payable to “Embassy of Turkmenistan”. Bounced cheque/draft: INR 1,000 return fee
Visa Verification Number or certified invitation from the State Migration Service (valid 3 months from issue)
If stay is one month or more: original HIV/AIDS certificate issued in the last month, from a provider this Embassy certifies, in Turkmen, English, or Russian (or certified translation)
Legal residents of India who are not Indian citizens: also a valid re-entry visa to their country of residence, plus the resident card and a copy.
